JSf York state favors the nomination of Major General Leonard Wood for' President, according to the returns received from, the poll of the organisation county chairmen taken . by the Sup Herald. Governor Frank 0. Lowden, of the second choice. Of all “aRt. choice" votee cast Wood received a trifle lass than 88 per cent. Other “first choices” were cast for the following: Governor Lowden, 10.3 per cent; SiinWftr Warren Cf. Harding, 8.48 per <*nt, and Dt. Nicholas Murray Butler, 3.48 per cent.
