S .. „ Doris McKay and Evlyn Abell visited over Sunday at the home of Miss Ann Cooley near Kentland. Wm. Bowser has been quite seriously sick with the flu but is better at this time. John Kigbt and family came up from Indianapolis in his machine and will visit relatives herb this W66k< The Junior class of the high school gave a chicken supper and entertainment Thursday evemng, which was well attended and enjoyed by all. _ Mr. and Mrs. J. Kight spent Sunday with their daughter at Monon. Mrs. C. A. Corns and Mfs. W» Wendell spent Saturday in Chicago. Wm. Cottingham of Momenee is here for a few days. Lew Moffitt arrived in Fair Oaks thsi morning from Montgomery, Ala. Mrs. Joe Davisson and daughter, Feme, are here from Montana visiting the McConnell family. ■» Frank McKay’s two little boys returned to Hammond Saturday having finished school here. Esther Karr, who is teaching school at Crawfordsville, spent the week sod at home. Miss Edna Wood spent Saturday and Sunday in Rensselaer. Ten new pupils—Bth graders—started to school here Monday preparatory to enterihg high school here this fall.
