This is highly important work, notwithstanding the discomfort which It Inflicts on a certain member of the family .who never seems to be keenly Interested In housekeeping and housecleaning. But he is an unimportant member of the household, and there is no particular reason why he should be considered. As a matter of fact he seldom is considered. It is his fate and he expects Jt. While the house and back yard and front lawn are getting their annual renovation the wise and tidy people of the neighborhood ought not to overlook the back lot or the vacant, lot, or the bit of common that , too often becomes the JUnk pile of the neighborhood. Get together and clean it up also! A tidy neighborhood adds to the comfort and happiness of everybody and his visitors, and also fedds to the property value of • everybody’s hold-ings.-—Exchange.
