Stemburg of Chicago, the dredge contractor, was in Rensselaer today. He reports that there is a very strong sentiment in Chicago for the nomination of General Leonard Wood. Lowell, Ind., March 29.—A cyclone visited this section yesterday and did considerable damage. The worst damage done was east of of here. A house and barn were blown down on the J. A, Clark 'fawn and a barn on the farms of Dr. EHiott and Silas Hogan. In town, the roof on Hie Nichols elevator was damaged. The wind blew at a high rate for some time and ths« was followed by a terrific rain and hail.
