UNDERGOES OPERATION FOR APPENDICITIS

Mrs. C. O. Swift, who was visiting her sister, Mrs. Milton Roth of this city, was taken very ill Tuesday. Local physicians diagnosed the case and found that she had appendicitis. She was taken to the hospital and underwent an operation Tuesday evening. The appendix was.' found in very bad condition. On Monday Mrs. Swift, with Mrs. William Mackey and Mrs. Margaret Clouse and John Marlatt attended the funeral of Mrs. Manley Burk at Logansport and seemed to be in the best of health. Her husband, came down from Chicago Tuesday and will remain here a few days.
