EDWARD STEVENS DIED AT DAUGHTER’S HOME TODAY
The death of Edward Stevens, of Herscher, HL, occurred at six o’clock this Wednesday at the home of his daughter, Mrs. Harry Gifford, and came after several months of illness, due to a complication of diseases. The deceased with ins wife had been making his home here during the winter. Mr. Stevens was seventy-seven years of age and is survived by his wife and four children, viz.: James Stevens, of Florida; Mrs. R. Inkster and Mrs. W. Boule, of Kankakee, HL; and Mrs. Harry Gifford, of this city. Funeral services will be held at two o’clock Wednesday afternoon at the late residence, after which the remains will 'be taken to Herscher for burial. ? — • (
