The Alto Parana river, which divides Paraguay from Argentina and Brazil, and Its many tributaries, could make Paraguay an important industrial center. The power of these waters is practically unknown, but 1ยป estimated as having, in some places, a fall of 200 feet, and a force of 100,-000-horse power.
