TEFFT STORE BURNED.
R. E. Davis of Tefft was in Rengâ– elaer Monday and reported that the large store building, owned by M. Anderson, was burned to the ground last Thursday. The store was a large frame building, thirty by sixty feet, and had a large stock of merchandise which wag also burned. Mr. Davis estimates that the loss was between |7,000 and |B,OOO. The residence at the rear of the store was saved by the heroic effort of the people of that vicinity.
