THE HUMAN DYNAMO FROM ILLINOIS
The following excerpts are taken from an account appearing in the Danville, HL, Morning Press, of a meeting held by the Elks lodge in that city. The Mr. Meyers referred to is our own “Dutch” Meyers. “Frank P. Meyers, dubbed the “human dynamo from Illinois” while attending the National Shoe Retailers Association, of which he is secretary and treasurer, will be in charge of the publicity, and the members of the lodge know they have made no mistake in selecting him.” (The Elks ere preparing for a convention which is to be held in that city soon.) “Frank P. Meyers again added laurels to his reputation as an orator And, during his address, urged united activity toward securing an increase in the number of members of the premier business men’s organization of the city. Two thousand members, he declared, should be the number of members instead of 700, the present membership.”
