PROMINENT UNION TOWNSHIP RESIDENT DIES

James McClanahan, for manor years a prominent and respected farmer, died at his home in Union township alt six o’clock this Thursday morning following an illness of a few days. Heart trouble was the cause of his death. He was seventy-three yean of age at the time death came. The deceased is a member of the Odd Fellows Order at Parr, and -was always an active worker for the betterment of the community in which he resided. Mr. McClanahan is survived by his wife and ten children, five sons and five daughters. The funeral arrangements had - not been made at the time the Republican went to press.
