Miss Frank Irwin went to Logansiport Monday to visit her sister, Mrs. Earl Parsons. Mrs. H. W. Walters of East Washington stret, was called to Libertyville, Hl., Saturday on account of the illness of her sister. Isaac Glazebrook, who has been confined to his home in Front street for more tha na week, is reported to be improving. Mr. and Mrs. George Davisson and Mrs. Cyril Steele left Monday for Tampa, Fla., to spend the remainder of the winter. A The 1920 session of the State Teachers’ Association; is to be held one week earlier this year. Most of the speakers who will be asked to address the meeting will be men outside of the teaching profession. AH mothers, wives, daughters and sisters of soldiers and sailors who served in the World War are urged t» attend the meeting in the West Court Room Thursday night at 8 o’clock for the purpose of forming an Auxiliary to the Local Post of the American Legion. Superintendent C. Ross Dean, of the city schools, was in Indianapolis on Saturday where he attended a meeting of the executive committee of the Indiana State Teachers’ A ssociation, of Which he is a member, He is the committeeman from the tenth congressional district.
