Bernice Maxwell was unable to attend school Monday on account of illness. Mr. and Mrs. Tom Walters entertained the Earl Barkley family last Wednesday evening. Lynn Daugherty and family visited at the home of Mrs. Daugherty’s parents, J. W. Smith in Marion township last Sunday. Mr. and Mrs. Cy Bates had as dinner guests last Sunday, Rev. J. E. Dean and family. Miss Bertha Maxwell, Wm. Jenkins and Joe Bates. Tom, little ton of Mr. and Mrs. Kenton Parkinson, was ill the first of the week. _ _ Granville Moody, Sr., Granville Moody, Jr., and John Parkinson left Tuesday morning for a trip to Denver and Omaha. Ada, little daughter of Mr. and Mrs. J. R- Brandenburg, was ill the first of the week. William Snedeker is suffering with a very sore face, caused by a alight skin eruption on his forehead, becoming poisoned by the rubbing of his cap against it
