Roy Sheldon was in town Saturday distributing sale bills for a big public sale to be held January 19. Read the list elsewhere in this paper. Chas Frdnklin, of Freedom, Ind., is visiting Mr. and Mrs. Joseph Hickam. Attorney Frank J. Cook, of Lacrosse, was a business visitor here last Saturday. Wm. Slingsby of Ottawa, Hl., was here last week looking after his farming interests and was a visitor at the home of M. J. Delahanty and family. Mr. and Mrs. Orange Brewer, Mrs. Sarah Stembel, Mrs. Walden and Mrs. Samantha Tilton enjoyed a sleigh ride out to the home Of Alf Tilton last Sunday, and had A good dinner and a good visit. John Musch went to Englewood Monday for a business visit. I Mrs. Henry Ferrel went last week to visit and attend a sewing bee with the family of Alex Raeth near North Hayden, Lid. Mrs. Noah Stonebraker was called to Tensing, 111., on account of sickness in the family of her daughter, Mrs. John D. Mott. F. W. Powers writes us he is spending the winter in Florida. Mrs. P. S.
