Director of Employment Service rinds Industrial Situation Good. Unemployment now is less alarming than at any time since the signing of the armistice, according to a statement made* by W* H. Skinner. Wing director general of the United States employment service. Reports from 22 states indicate that in Wisconsin and Michigan there is a shortage of help. In Arkansas, Tennessee and Indiana there Is reported a slight shortage of, jobs. In Chicago and New York there is more unemployment than anywhere In the country. The slignt unemployment that is reported is regarded ,as a result of th« difficulty in connecting the right man with the job and of strikes, which cre-
