OBITUARY.
William Shellhart, eon of Jacob and Catherine Shellhart, was born near Pulaski, Indiana, February ‘loth, 1857, and departed thia Ufa 'at his home in Rensselaer, Sunday morning, January 4th, 1820, at the age of 62 years, 10 months and 22 Se was the fourth of five children, three sons and two daughters, two of which preceded him in death. - - . ' x r He was united in marriage with Maria Widner on March 12th, 1878. To this union three children were 'born, two daughters and one son, vis.: Mrs. Rebecca Jane Hudson, of Rensselaer; Mrs, Mary Elisabeth Casto, of Jordan township, and ; John Francis Shellhart, of Milroy township. His married life was spent in Pulsski county and the vicinity of Rensselaer. The deecased had .been a patient Sufferer for the past five years. He suffered a paralytic stroke five ; years ago and another in May of 1919. Complication of diseases ; caused his death. He leaves to > mourn their loss his beloved wife, I Maria Shellhart, the two daughters I and the son, fourteen grand chil--11 dren, one brother, John Shellhart. I of Star City, Ind., npd a sister, ; Elizabeth Watt, of Lee, Ind., and other relatives and a host of friends. A Mr. Shellhart was reared in the I Presbyterian church where he received his religious training. He was an industrious man, always kind and good to his family and a good neighbor who made many friends. He expressed his willingness to die and was resigned to ’!■ God’s will and was prepared to meet his God.
