Mr. and Mrs. Seldon Grant returned to their home in Chestnut, 111., after a visit here with'his father, Shelby Grant, and other relatives. ” W. J. Wright, D. S. Makeever, Dr. A. R. Kresler and Alfred went to Chicago this morning. Ray Collins and family left this Tuesday afternoon for their new home in Bucklin, Kan. Mr. Collins has purchased a farm near Bucklin and will move upon the same at once. Leslie Miller, residing west of Rensselaer, suffered a slight fracture of a bone in his right leg Monday afternoon when he slipped and fell upon some ice while driving a team of horses. The injury, although slight, will keep Mr. Miller from his daily duties for some time to come. — 4 • T. F.
