LAWLER REMEMBERS RENSSELAER NEEDY.

Some days ago Mayor Charles G. -Spitler received a letter from J. J. Lawler, Chicago, enclosing a check for $100.0*6 to be used in providing Christmas cheer to the needy of Rensselaer. The mayor turned this check over to the charity board. Mr. Lawler has been very liberal in his gifts to this community and he has the very sincere appreciation of our people for the same.
