In order that the employes of the Republican may give thanks for their many blessings no Evening Republican will be issued on Thursday, Thanksgiving day. The Friday semi-weekly will be issued on Wednesday and our advertisers are urged to have their copy in this office by Tuesday evening or Wednesday morning. - _ We have many things to be thankful for. One is that we issue a republican paper and another that we live in the good old city of Rensselaer. > Neither proprietor of this sheet has made arrangements for Thanksgiving dinner and both are ready to make engagements now.
