Mt. Ayr Tribune— _____— —ln accord with the feeling that tn prevail Tiver the eountry that the farmers are the proper persons to own and operate the elevators, several of our farmers have been busy of late soliciting stock for a Farmers’ Elevator company here. They seem to be meeting with fine success and it seems only a short time until the company will be ready to organize and apply for its charter. We have not been made acquainted with all their plans, but have been told that the new company may buy out Mr. Harris, who operates quite an extensive grain and implement business. However, i-seme of the subscribers for stock are demanding that the company build a modern elevator, and-the outcome can only be determined when the company is organized and ready to act.
