Local physicians report that there are many cases of scarlet fever in different sections of the county and that the disease seems to be spreading. The health officer states that the afflicted families a?e being placed in quarantine just as soon as it is found that they have the disease. However, it is reported that there have been several families who have entirely disregarded the quarantine regulations, thus endangering others and causing the epidemic to spread. This is a direct violation of the law and anyone violating the regulations, may find himself in an embarrassing position. It is said that the disease is quite prevalent in the vicinity of Parr and Virgie. Mrs. D. A. Morjrell returned this forenoon from Indianapolis.
