Mrs. George L. Thornton was? agreeably surprised Wednesday evening when guests to the number of twenty-five called at her hoifte to remind her of her sixty-first birthday anniversary. Many fine gifts were left by the guests in rememberance of the occasion. The guests left at a late hour, wishing her ' many happy returns of the day. j The out-of-town guests were: Mr. and Mrs. J. S.
