e Mrs. Carl Heinz and daughter, Dorthy, came today from Hammond for a visit with JMr. and Mrs. Ben MeColly. Dr. J. W. Lake, superintendent Vs St. Joseph’s conference, will preach at the United Brethren church at Aix Tuesday evening, Octdber 28. A cordial invitation is extended to all. Mrs. J. A. Lamere returned to her home at Hammond today after a visit* with her son, Joseph, who is attending St. Joseph’s college; Mrs. G. W. Loveless went to Lafayette today to attend the funeral of her husband’s mother, Mrs. S. C. Loveless. Mr. and Mrs. Cecil Led will leave Tuesday for their new home in Onarga, 111., where Mr. Lee will engage in the produce business. Mr. and Mrs. Charles Sommers and children and Mrs. John Sommers, Sr., went to Hammond Saturday for a visit with Mrs. John Sommers, Jr., and family.
