Charles B. Steward went to Chixagt> this morning. Nettie Skeeters, of Lafayette, was fn Rensselaer today. Earl Easterday was in Chicago Monday and witnessed the defeat of the White Sox by the Red Hose. Mr. and Mrs. 0. N. Brenner returned to this city from Logansport Monday evening. George Fulk returned to his home in Monticello Monday evening. He had visited his wife in the hospital here. E. Lintner arrived home Monday after serving five years in the United States cavalry, part of which time he was a guard of Mexican prisoners during the 'Mexican trouble. During the remainder of the five-year period he spent in the service in the Panama canal zone. Corporal Lintner is a brother of Mrs. Omar Wilcox, of this city.
