OBITUARY.
Robert Zick, son of Michael and Wilhelmina Zick, was bom on October 12, 1858, in Laporte county, Indiana, and departed this life September 24, 1919, at his home in Walker township at the age of 60 years, 8 months and 12 days. He t came to Walker township 1864 with hia parents and resided in that township until his death. He had been in poor health for the last few years, bat was able to be about at his work most of the time. He leaves to mourn his death three sisters, Mrs. Augusta pumond, of Park City,’ Mont.; , Mrs. Bruce White, of Rensselaer,/ and Mrs. William Warren, of Walker township, this county, and-one brother, Louis Zick, also of Walker township. Besides the above he is survived by three nieces, Mrs. Benjamin Grube, of Foreston, S. C., Mrs. Clinton Scott, of Kansas, and Mrs. Fred Bodin, of Montana, and one nephew, Lewis Warren, of this county, apoa host wf fri ends. His father and mother .preceded him in death. He was unmarried, and during their lives he was very devoted to his parents. Robert Zick was a law abiding citizen, a peaceful and industrious man, a good neighbor and was highly respected by all who knew him. He was a member of the Lutheran church and was liberal in his contributions to (works of charity. He spent the summer of 1913 in {the western states visiting relatives and friends. ; . On account of sickness it was impossible for his sister, Mrs. Dumofid, to be present at the funeral. The funeral services were largely attended by his many friends and were held at the old Zick home place Saturday, September 27, at 1 p. m. —. — The services" were* conducted by ■she Rev. Hinsley, of Medaryville, and interment was made in the Wheatfield cemetery, where he was placed by the side of the graves of his father and mother.
