Mo.—Mrs. Helen Curry of this city hhs been relieved of a long-standing ' pain in her hip by an operation, in which a needle and thread were removed. _ Some month's ago she began to notice pain in her hip. She consulted several doctors, who treated het for rheumatism. An X-ray revealed the presence of the needle add thread. How they got there is a mystery.
