G. A. Jacks and wife are entertaining company from Illinois and lowa this week. Aliss Lural Anderson is entertaining a lud> l'ilend fimii Winamac. Grandma Sparling, of Monon, is spending a few days With Mrs. A. B. Lewis. Harry Rishling and family spent Sunday with friends fn Rensselaer. G. A. Jacks is on the sick list. Robert Stiers, who has been sick for several months with tuberculosis at the home of his sister, died Sunday morning. The funeral was held at the church at 11 o. m., Tuesday, conducted by ReV. Dean. Interment was made in the Osborne cemetery. Messrs. Will Zabel, Arthur Miller, William Wacher and Clifford Parkison and families spent Sunday at the Tippecanoe river. Rev. Dean and wife spent Sun--dair with Samuel Noland and family; Several of the Jacks families attended the funeral of a relative at Brookston Sunday. Mrs. Will Jacks, who lives south of Rensselaer, is visiting with relatives here.
