Mr. and Mrs. Van Wood and children were the guests of Mrs. Wood’s parents, Mr. and Mrs. John Phillips. Charles Ferguson and' family had as their guests for Sunday dinner James Morecraft, of Watseka, 111., Mary Robinson, Lucille Reubush, of Monon, and Ray Morecraft. Mrs. Herschel Ray and Mrs. Charles Gareson ’ were—Rensselaer goers Tuesday. Mr. and Mrs. W.R.Willits were in Rensselaer the first of the week. Mrs. Russell Willits is on the sick list at this writing. The Goodland base ball team did not come to play with McCoysburg last Sunday, but the Monon team will cross bats with us next Sunday. ' . • - ... -■ The Ladies’ Aid will meet with Mrs. Orville Hitchings on October 1. Mrs. Charles Ferguson and son, Arthur, were in Rensselaer Wednesday having some dental work done.
