The German press is conspicuously displaying quotations from the recent white house conferences between President Wilson and the senate foreign relations committee, to the president’s assertion, in answering Senator McCumber, that America would have entered the war against Germany regardless of the TT4>oats or any other act of aggression by Germany. ■ _ I
