New York, Sept. 15.—Suggestions for avoiding influenza were distributed broadcast today by the Association for Improving the Condition of the Poor. Following are the rules: Avoid crowds. cough or cofld. Drink plenty of fresh water. Sleep with the windows open. Stay in the open air and walk to your work. .. ——- Eat three uniform meals a day and avoid a breakfast of—mere coffee. Bathe frequently. Above all things, keep cheerful.
