HAMMOND STEEL STRIKERS START TO HUNGARIAN HOMES.

Hammond, Ind., Sept. 15.—Further weakening of the strikers at the Standard Steel Car company here ■was witnessed last night when scores of the Hungarians employed at the plant left for Montreal, from where they will sail for Trieste. As soon as others can get passports they will leave America. During the past six months, steamship agents here report, fully 1,000 foreigners have sailed for Europe from the Calumet region. At a mass meeting of the Lake county trades and labor organization resolutions were passed denouncing whalt was called the murder of the four strikers by the Hammond authorities, and grand jury investigation of all circumstances which led up to the riot were demanded. The situation in the strike zone has been peaceful since the fatal riot of lastt week.
