Mr. and Mrs. David Garis, Mr. and Mrs. John Garis and Mrs. Bertha Kiser, of lowa, and Mrs. Ida Kelley, of Valparaiso, have been visiting their sister, Mrs. E. M. Fairchild, of DeMotte, during the past week. The visit was greatly enjoyed by the brothers and sisters as it was the first time in several years that they had all been together. The lowa parties made the trip to Indiana in an automobile bearing a trailer which contained a camping outfit which added greatly to the enjoyment of their trip. The visitors stated that the drought experienced by the farmers in this vicinity did not appear in lowa and that the crops in that section are unusually good. We will unload a car of fancy New York Alberta peaches Saturday or Monday, September 13th or 15th. Leave your orders and if the peaches are not fancy and sound you do not have to take them.
