Mrs. Hally-Alter, of Union township, in calling at The Republican office today to renew Mr. Alter’s subscription to/ the semi-weekly, informed us that she and her husbabd and baby returned last week from i very pleasant visit, with her brother, Floyd Williams, at AWabnter Ohio. ~ Mr. Williams owns ahd is in charge of a business college at Ashtabula and also owns another business college at Connaut, O. On their way home —they visited with Mrs. Alter’s sister, Mrs. Floy Xunce, who lives on a farm near Ligonier. Jacob Wright went to Frankfort today on business. 1,
Frank King, Jr., was able to leave the hospital today. The “Bunch” will give a picnic in honor of Agnes Howe, of Chicago, this evening. Cary McDonald and son, Thomas, formerly of Milroy township but now of LaCrosse, were in Rensselaer today. Mr. and Mrs. Edward Barkley, who had been at Underwood, lowa, have returned to their home at Parr. They have as their guest, Mrs, Sarah Lilves. of Payne, OMrs. Lilves is a sister of Mrs. Barkley. Spencer Hamilton, a brother of the two women, is very sick at his home in Monticello.
