HOSPITAL BOARD MEETS.

The Jasper county hospital board met in regular monthly session Thursday evening at the office of the superintendent. Matters relative to the management were discussed and the report of the superintendent was examined and approved. , - The receipts for the month of August were $989.16. The expenditures for salaries $667.67, for supplies $572.16, or a total of —$ 1,239.83. This leaves a deficit for the month of $250.69. This wascaused by the purchase of a new hotwater heater and a typewriter. .
