WEARS FOUR STARS.

Hospital Sergeant Charles C. Fuller, of Thayer, was in Rensselaer today. Sergeant Fuller wears four stars, indicating that he took part in the four big battles of the great war in which American soldiers tobk part. Besides the stars he wears an allied victory medal and a French citation badge. Sergeant Fuller enlisted in March, 1918, and was immediately sent across, leaving Camp Greenleaf, Ga., in April and in May he was at the front and took part in four ibig battles. He was severely wounded, but has recovered’ bntifely. He served with Co.- £ field hospital, division No. 1. He was with the army of occupation in Germany eight months and returned to the United States arriving in New York City August 19. He was discharged at Camp Sherman, 0., Aug. 26. He is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Frank Fuller, of Thayer. Sergeant Fuller was in uniform while her* today and has a fine soldierly appearance. i . .. t- —:
