He Had Repented.

A funny one happened the other day in the office of a justice of the peace. A young couple were being married, surrounded by several friends. As usual; the ritual came to that place where the justice said: “Does anj’one present know of any reason why this couple should not become man and wife?” And to everybody’s amazement, the groom spoke up, “I do.” As he said afterwards, “thaVs what comes of too many rehearsals."
