NEW CAFETERIA FOR CITY; OPEN DAY AND NIGHT.
Jay W. Stockton, proprietor of the Makeever hotel, commenced the remodeling of his dining room today and will convert it into a cafeteria which will be open day and night for hotel patrons and the public in general. 'Mr. Stockton recently abandoned the serving of meals and has Ibeen operating on the European plan. However, Mr. Stockton has found that the traveling public has been greatly inconvenienced by his move, but believes that his new plan will meet with their approval. The partition between the dining rooms and the kitchens is being removed today and fixtures purchased of Dr. Horton by Mr. Stock ton will be installed. The proprietor thus finds that he will be able to provide for a great many more patrons than heretofore and believes that his new venture will be an unqualified success. Mr. Stockton states he will be open for business within a week.
