The Regnier family held its first annual reunion at the home of Samuel Sirois here Monday. The following people from our vicinity attended the services at the Moody conference grounds at Cedar Take Sunday: Mr. and Mrs. John Ahlgrim and family, David Fisher, Mr. and .Mrs. Harve Nelson and daughters Mabelle and Elsie and the Misses Lyvah and Lylah Clement. Mi— Lois Schultz, who will teach in Qlinois the coming school year, is attending institute at Kankakee this week. Miss Alice 801, of DeMotte, was toe guest of her aunt, Mrs. Guy Dickey, Friday. , Born, to Mr. and Mrs. Charles Eich, a daughter, Thursday, August 14, Dr. Iddings was the attending physician. Mr. and Mrs. Selden Spieto and son, EBwin, Mr. and Mrs. Joe Parish and their guests, Mr. and Mrs. Lloyd Mell, spent last week in camp down the river. Mr. and Mrs. I. N. Hathaway and J. K. Woemer went Sunday to Hammond to spend the day with Mrs. Woerner at St. Margaret’s hospital. . Charles Ferguson, who has been making a business trip through toe south, is home again. He and Mrs. q>ent last week in Chicago. ) . Mrs. Zella Meyers, who has been visiting at toe home of her parents, Mr. and Mrs. E. P. Williams, returned home Wednesday. Mis. Gimilla Waleox has as her gueste hertoofcer, Jmmne his wife and grandson, sir of Newark, O. . • . _ , Mrs. Hany Nave and son, Paul, were Lowell visitors Friday. , John Diversey, of North Vernon, Ind., visited relatives and friends here last week. Mrs. J. K. Woerner, who underwent an operation at St Margwet’s hospital last week, is reported as ratting along nicely at this writing. Mirs. Giles Aylesworth and son, Eltop, of Hebron, were the boosts of the former’s daughter, Mrs. Clyde Dickey, last week. J Russell Allen, who is now employed in Chicago, spent the weekend with friends here. The band went to Tolleston Sunday to assist Evangelist Snyder ii his that place. Mr. and Mrs. O. H. Brouhaxd and family are spending toe week with relatives in Chicago. Miss Ethel Burroughs is visiting friends at Kersey, Fair Oaks and other points in J—per county. BL E.
