Five monkey-faced owls were discovered by timbermen cutting trees near Aurora, this state. One of the birds was killed before the lumbermen knew what a rare find they had made. The others were captured. The lumbermen presented them to the zoological garden in Cincinnati. These owls are rarely seen in this part df the country.
