Mr. and Mrs. Luther Tow and children, of Kokomo, came Thursday evening for a visit with _ Mrs. Tow’s parents, Mr. and Mrs, William j&eese, of Barkley township. Three-One-Nine. Hon. J. Frank Hanly, who makes an address here Sunday forenoon, will (be in Kentland Sunday evening to make an address at the Methodist church in that city. Waiter Forbes and family have moved from Oxford to Watseka, 111., where he will be the manager of the E. E. Bogan Produce Co. Mr. Forbes had been employed by the ■■■Trie firm in Oxford. Three-One-Nine. j = Mt. and Mrs. Don Beam and Don! Wright went to Chicago today, at which place they will meet the Yaeger twins. The Yaeger twins wqtc on tihe Von St\iben with, the boys and their home is at Columbus, O. Mr. and Mrs. W. Elvin Overton and twin sons, who had been visiting with Mr. Overton’s sister, Mrs. William Childers, and other relatives, left today for Lafayette, where they will visit with Mrs. Overton’s sisters. From Lafayette they will continue to their home in Peoria, 111. The Newton county teachers’ institute will be held in Kentland September 1 to 5. The instructors will be Dr. M. V. O’Shea, department of education, university of - Wisconsin ; Emma Colbert, department of education, Teachers colliege, Indianapolis, and J. C. Tranbarger, of Forest, who will have •charge of the music.
