John Marlatt and children, Perry and Jennie, and Kenneth Hooker went to Chicago today and will attend Ringling’s circus. Mr. and Mrs. Oscar Markiaon returned to their home in Chicago today after a visit here with Henry Gilbr&nson and family. Mr. and Mrs. Bert Brenner and son and Mrs. L J. Porter, of Valparaiso, were in Rensselaer Thursday afternoon. Mrs. Rosa Thayer returned Thursday evening to her home in Indianapolis after a visit with her brother, Douglas Smith, and family. Frank Smith, Herman Langdon and A. C. Nees, of Wheatfield, were in Rensselaer Thursday afternoon. They had been in Brook, where Mr. Smith was looking after a business for which he is thinking of trading his farm. • .
