HOLD WHITES FOR FIRES STARTED IN RACE RIOT.

Chioago, Aug. 13.—Nearly a score of whites who are members of athletic and social dubs on the south side were arrested tonight in connection with the organization of supposed incendiary fires during the recent race riots. Ten deputy state fire marshals and the police have ibeenjnvestigating since the fires and several men had been arrested by the state attorney’s men. The arrests tonight were the first made by the state deputies.
