SUCCUMBS AFTER LONG ILLNESS
SISTER OF AUDITOR HAMMOND DIES AT HER HOME NEAR HUNTINGTON. A message was received here this Monday forenoon announcing the death of Mrs. Clinton Brown at her late home near Huntington. Death came to Mrs. Brown after a long illness at 6a. m. today. She had been in the Huntington hospital for some tame' and was but lately taken to her home. The deceased was the daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. Steward Hammond and was a sister of Mrs. Marion L Adams and Auditor J. P. Hammond, of this city, and a sister-in-law of D. W. Waynnire, of this city. She was forty-three years of age bn March 9, 1919 and some fourteen years ago was married to Clinton Brown, son of Mr. and Mrs. W. R. Brown, of this city. v>u IShe had made her home in. this county until three years ago when they moved upon a farm they had purchased near Huntington. The (body is expected to arrive here Tuesday on the 2:51 train and services will foe held at the First Christian church at 3 p. m. Tuesday afternoon. Interment will be in Weston cemetery.
