MISS ALICE THOMAS MAKES HIT IN OPERA.
Miss Alice Thomas, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. W. L. Thomas, of 424 North Littleton street, who left some time ago to join the Mascott Opera company, has advanced to the role of prima donna. It is French opera, and although Miss Thomas is only nineteen years of age, she is possessed of unusual talent. She took the plaice of Miss Gertrude Shannon, now appearing in New York.
