Strange Indian Names.

Rapid City, S. D. —A recent issue of the Ogala Light, the monthly magazine of the Pine Ridge Indian reservation school near here, gives some peculiar names among those listed as students. Lizzie Shot to Pieces is at the end of the list. Other names include Victoria Holy Rock, Julia Afraid of Hawk, Mary Brown Ears, Julia Crazy Ghost, Mercy Yellow Shirt, Emma No Fat, Ella Red Eyes, Martin Chase Alone, Noah Horse, John .Left Hand and Julia Stands Up.
