CONCERT ATTRACTED LARGE CROWD LAST EVENING.

The opening band concert of the season was held last evening with the result that a large crowd was on hand to greet the musicians after an absence of two years. Doubtless the crowd would 'have 'been much larger had it not been that the country people are so busy at the present time with their threshing. Thee members are highly elated over the interest shown by the public and assert that they have the' nucleus for the best musical organization that ever represented the city. Professor Tooner,- St. Joseph musical director, is directing the boys and rapid progress is expected to be made under him. ยป
