It is an education in itself. ; Friday there was a processional of one and one half hours, d ® m ?. n ‘ strating the work of the Methodist church in every land. The peoples of foreign lands formed a conspicuous element in it. . , Saturday Secretary Daniels fro ™ ’Washington made a wonderful address. He said that the Methodists had set out to raise one hundred and five million, but that up to date there has been raised one hundred and seventy-eight million. Today there are such crowds that it looks now as if all of the people will not get to see the pageant. Tickets are sold a few hours before the pageant opens and. only ten thousand can see it at once. Sunday at every tent and building there was held a beautiful service on Life-Service
Saw Mr. Bott, also many of the ministers of the conference and «nme few lay-members. . Ex-President Taft, Mr McAdoo, George R. Stuart (South), Secretary Daniels, Bishops McDaniels, Welch Stuntz and McConnell, Dean Birney, of Boston, and many other Notables have been heard at the coliseum.
