Miss Alice Christie returned to her home at Champagne, 111., today after spending the week-end with Mr. and Mrs. C. Earl Duvall. The American Rescue Workers, Adjutant Minton and wife, district officer of Indiana, are here looking after the interest of the work. They wish to thank the good citizens of Rensselaer for their donations for the support of their work. Their work is similar to that of the Salvation Army, preaching the Gospel in the streets and helping the poor, in fact, went under the name of the American Salvation Army for years. District headquarters of the* Rescue Workers is at Huntington, Ind., and national headquarters are located in Philadelphia.—Contributed.
