Makes Pine Needles.
A discovery has been patented which Is of great interest and value in connection with the textile* industry. By the process patented there is obtained a useful substitute for cotton and jute from pine needles. The needles are first of all rendered chemically soluble and then thoroughly mixed by mechanical means, whereupon the fibrous 'material thus obtained can be spun os any ordinary cotton-spinning machine
