I. Hoover. Mr. and Mrs. George Hemphill and little son, John, of Chicago, were guests over Sunday with his father, I. N. Hemphill, and family. V Mrs. Jake Wright returned Sunday from Frankfort, where she had been with her father, who is in poor health, having had a paralytic stroke. ■ . i Sena Gilbransen, who rad been here to visit with her brother, Henry Gilbransen, and attend the funeral of Mrs. A. Mr. and Mrs. John McClanahan and family returned to their home in Hammond Sunday* after a visit here 'with his parents, Mr. and Mrs. J. H. McClanahan, of Union township. j Frances Kennedy, of Goodland, went to Indianapolis Sunday afternoon. She was accompanied bo this city by Mr. and Mrs. Warren Washburn and son, of GoodTand. - Jennie and Esther Sage, daughters of Mrs. Chdrles Sage, of Jordan township, went to Valparaiso, where Miss Jennie will 'enter Valparaiso university and prepare to teach school this fall. She is a graduate of the Brook high school, being a member of the class of 1919. Miss Esther will remain a short time with her sister and then return to her home.
