.Tonight is the regular meeting of the city council. A son was born to Mr. and Mrs. Robert Hilton, of Walker township, this Monday, May 26. Mr. and Mrs. Lloyd Hopkins, of Mt. Ayr, were in Rensselaer „today, having accompanied Clarence Spangle to this city, and the latter continued to his home in Marion, Ind. A son was born to Mr. and Mrs. Harry Jinkenson, in Chicago, Saturday, May 24. Mrs. Jinkenson is a daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Harry Wiltshire, of this city. The next excursion to the Rio Grande valley of Texas will leave Chicago Thursday night Come and join us on this excursion. A low rate for the round trip from Rensselaer will be made.
